Schatkin has published two books of general philosophical essays. One book, entitled Essay on the Christian World View has been bought by major international universities in Cairo, Egypt, Hong Kong, China, and Germany. Other universities in the United States that have bought this book including Harvard, Columbia, Denison University, University of North Carolina, University of Texas, University of Wyoming, University of Utah, and the University of Maryland. Schatkin’s other book of general philosophical essays, entitled Essays on Faith, Culture, Politics, and Philosophy has also been bought by major international universities, including universities in Malaysia, Australia, Switzerland, and Germany. Schatkin has a degree in international human rights from Strasbourg, France and has a M.Div degree from Princeton Theological Seminar in Biblical and Classical Languages (including Greek, Latin, and Hebrew). Schatkin is listed in The Library of Congress as a virtual international authority. Schatkin is also listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World, and in December of 2007 he was approved for the William Fulbright Scholarship Award. The Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State and the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars approved Schatkin’s candidacy for the Fulbright Grant. He was awarded a grant on the subject of “Religion and Globalization” sponsored by the Boston University Department of Theology. The subject of the seminar was the Growth of Islam, as well as Pentecostalism, and Evangelical Protestantism, in South America and Africa. Grant participants were drawn from all over the world including Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Germany, and Puerto Rico. Andrew J. Schatkin was awarded full tuition scholarships to Hunter College and Princeton’s Theological Seminar, and was also award the Prize in Greek from Hunter College and graduated with honors in classical languages from Hunter College. Schatin was also awarded a citation for his work in the boy scouts and in the Princeton Theological Seminar, he was awarded the Prize in the Samuel Robinson Foundation.
