Roy Goh is an Entrepreneur and a lawyer by training with more than 10 years of commercial business experience, accompanied with 8 years of PQE. Roy possesses extensive diversified qualifications in business and law. His diverse qualifications include, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Certificate in Contract Law (Harvard Law School) and LL.B (Hons) from the University of Essex respectively. Roy's practices mainly focus on contractual risk management and advises on preliminary internal and external dispute resolution in relations to contracts. Roy is also the General Counsel overseeing the aspect of collaborative and employment contractual drafting, commercial contract drafting, contract negotiation, advising the company on corporate, business and commercial law, and statutory compliance related matters. Roy is an Elected Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Oluwatosin Lewis is presently the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos Court of Arbitration. She is a dispute resolution specialist with a proven ability and extensive experience in the areas of arbitration, litigation, contracts and documentation. Her experiences in legal practice span over two decades and diverse areas and clientele. She is experienced at representing parties at all national court levels and at arbitration proceedings, advising teams and departments, ensuring their compliance with substantive and regulatory laws and terms and conditions of operating licenses. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992 and is a Notary Public of Nigeria. Gary Benton is an internationally recognized Arbitrator and Mediator with over thirty years major law firm and in-house expertise in US and international business, corporate investment, technology and emerging growth matters. Commandant (retired) M M Sharma, Advocate, Delhi High Court, started and heads the Antitrust/Competition Law & Policy practice in VA since 2009 and has over 30 years’ legal and regulatory experience, both as an Advocate of Delhi High Court and as Law and Judicial officer in the Government of India (Law Officer/Judge Advocate in the rank of Commandant in the Indian Coast Guard). He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics of Competition Law from Kings College, London. He has worked in the Competition Commission of India (CCI) as Additional Registrar during 2006-2008 and was responsible for drafting the Implementing Regulations under the Competition Act, 2002. He has experience of working as Head-Legal /In-house Counsel for a large Corporate Group in the Steel and Power sector before joining VA in 2009. Mr Sharma has advised and represented clients, as an independent arguing Counsel in landmark cases of cartels, abuse of dominant position and M&As before the CCI, and in appeals before the Competition Appellate Tribunal (COMPAT) (Now before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal) (NCLAT) and Delhi and other High Courts since last over 10 years, including many Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and large MNCs, Trade Associations on competition issues.
